Fryar Law Firm PC was founded in 2006 by Eric Fryar with an initial focus on representing minority shareholders and other business owners in disputes with their partners. Fryar Law Firm maintained the shareholderoppression.com website and became known as one of the preeminent authorities in the area of business owner disputes, representing scores of oppressed shareholders and partners throughout Texas and across the country and achieving many multi-million dollar trial victories and settlements.
In 2014, after the Texas Supreme Court greatly restricted the rights of minority shareholders, Fryar Law Firm began the process of broadening its practice focus. Fryar Law Firm has taken what it has learned in representing individual investors and entrepreneurs in very complex legal disputes against their more powerful and better-financed former partners and has redesigned its practice to focus specifically on the needs of small businesses involved in complex disputes in the marketplace.
Today’s small business are increasingly involved in ever more complex and sophisticated transactions that sometime generate legal claims for fraud, breach of contract, unfair competition, and other disputes. Unfortunately, small businesses can rarely afford the first class legal representation that large companies have traditionally obtained from large commercial law firms. Fryar Law Firm has undertaken to reinvent business litigation so that the highest quality of legal representation can be delivered at the lowest possible overall cost through greater efficiency. Our clients understand that we do business litigation differently. We have rethought the process, using agile and lean methodologies, to deliver outstanding results better, faster, and more cost-effectively.
